KRISTA

Owner/Lead Groomer

I'm Krista, the lead groomer of Raleigh Grooming Co. and I've been grooming since 2012! I have two sweet dogs of my own, a Boston terrier named Dozer and a Pit mix named Darla.

You can find me hiking, traveling to all sorts of places, laying in the sun like a lizard, and giving smooches to all of your dogs!!

I discovered my passion for grooming while I was in college. I graduated with my degree in social work but I had already fallen in love with my grooming life and after graduation I could not turn away from it. This prompted me to pursue a career in it, which led me down the road to eventually becoming an entrepreneur.

I began my career at PetSmart, and over the next few years, I tried a few private salons and vet offices. None of them felt quite right until I started grooming on my own. At first, I began with Grooms by Krista, a solo business venture that flourished. I rediscovered my love for grooming when I was able to make my own decisions.

I was able to take a more personal approach with each dog and family, without worrying about  meeting goals set by a company. This gave me the time to get to know my clients better and provide a more wholesome service. I have grown to love pet grooming in a new way, my way, which has motivated me to open my own formal salon, following the guidelines that have worked so well for my solo adventure!

STACEY

GROOMING ASSISTANT

Stacey is the glue that holds our team together! She is our grooming assistant, which means she helps make sure every dog that comes in, is bathed, dried and prepped for the groomer! She spends so much time loving on all of the pups and making sure they have a comfortable experience. She is always there to welcome you with a warm smile and her radiating personality, which the dogs absolutely love.

In her spare time, Stacey enjoy expressing herself through painting, especially when she gets to create beautiful dog portaits! (Ask her about it!)

She also loves spending time with her two dogs, Jenga, a mini poodle, and Bowser, a poodle mix!

FRANNIE

GROOMER

Frannie is loved by every dog that walks through our door. Her sweet personality combined with a genuine passion for what she does, makes her a wonderful member of our team. She is known in the shop for her amazing haircuts she creates on poodles and pomeranians, but she can surely make any dog that comes in look like they belong in a magazine.

When Frannie is not creating beautiful haircuts, she is spending wholesome time with her husband and their two dogs, London- a toy poodle, and Bowser- a pit mix! She is also an avid gamer and can probably kick your butt in any game, any day!

TIFFANIE

GROOMER

Tiffanie's soft and gentle personality help to make her a wonderful groomer. She has an unmatched amount of patience and has been proven to handle the toughest pups. She really enjoys grooming cavapoos and shihtzus !

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and their Dachshund- Jellybean, and their kitty- Lelouch!

Tiffanie spends her weekends hiking and playing video games. She is also a huge anime fan and can talk nerdy with you!

COURTNEY

GROOMER

Dog's go crazy for Courtney's bubbly personality! She has fallen in love with grooming and her wonderful grooms show it! She is certified in hand stripping, which is a specialty type of grooming for specific breeds of dog! Her favorite breeds to groom are Bernese Mountain Dogs, Border Terriers, and Chinese Cresteds!

She loves grooming her own in dog Kuma, who is a Lhasa mix, in fun creative styles and colors! In her spare time she loves listening to music and attending live shows, and trying new vegan spots in the area!

MERCEDES

GROOMER

Mercedes can always be identified as best dressed in the shop! She loves to wear fun outfits and her personality is vibrant through her style. Mercedes is a certified doodle specialist and does an incredible job with anything ending in oodle! She also loves grooming cavaliers and wire haired terriers!

In her spare time, she is fulfilling orders for her company Mercedes Bowz, where she handcrafts beautiful bows and bibs for dogs! When her life is not revolving around work dogs, she also loves to hangout at home with her 2 dogs, Nadja and Winnie! You can also find Mercedes at your local karaoke bar shocking people with her amazing voice!
